Also it shouldn’t be too heavy since it can affect the expansion of root beneath the ground. The soil should be capable enough t hold only little amount of moisture since excessive moisture can affect the growth of plant.
- External conditions
Ambient conditions play a vital role in the growth of raspberry fruits. It can also influence the growth of plant. Since presence of excessive moisture in air can spoil the plant causing recurrent fungal infections. Also too hot climate can damage the fruit. So it is optimum for the plants to be cultivated in autumn or spring seasons.
- Watering facilities
Generally saplings once planted require less amount of watering. Also the watering can be done based on the climatic conditions that prevail. For an average cultivation practice, a growth of more than 13 centimeters long is obtained.
- Fertilizers used
Organic fertilizers are preferred in order to have effective supply nutrients to saplings without affecting the nature of the soil. Since use of inorganic chemicals can make soil to turn acidic. This acidic nature can cut down the growth of plant by appreciable amount due to lack of supply of nutrients.
